Determine Your Specialization

  • Learn to predict and prevent crime by studying advanced analytical techniques, strategic planning, geographic information mapping, database usage, and more.
  • Gain the analytical tools, critical-thinking skills, and database knowledge required to evaluate information and inform high-level decision making across multiple criminal justice sectors.
  • Earn a certification from the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) as a Basic Intelligence Analyst, setting you apart in the job market and giving you an edge over your peers.

Intelligence Analyst Track

Register for an upcoming information session or open house to learn more about the program and Graduate Studies at Monmouth University. All attendees will receive an application fee waiver for the current admission cycle.

  • Partnership with the Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) at the Naval Postgraduate School to ensure our curriculum is of the highest standards
  • Prepare for leadership roles preventing terrorism, reducing vulnerability in our communities, mitigating the threat of damage, and recovering from attacks and natural disasters.
  • Access to the Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL), a national collection of documents related to homeland security policy, strategy, and organizational management

Homeland Security Track

  • Prepare for an executive role within the field of criminal justice.
  • Learn how to analyze complex public sector challenges and manage the day-to-day operations of law enforcement and public agencies.
  • Work one-on-one with an experienced faculty advisor to conduct thorough research and produce a high-quality, publishable thesis that will enhance your professional resume.
